Atmaca – Turkey

Atmaca is a leading engineering firm in Turkey which focuses on the development of housing projects.

With the assistance of DCG Ltd., Atmaca hoped to expand its operations by attaining projects/contracts from all parts of the world. DCG Ltd. helped to achieve this goal for Atmaca by repackaging the entire company, and giving it new guiding principles and central areas of focus.

While Atmaca used to only focus on small and medium sized projects in Turkey, we refocused their direction and trained their management and staff to think commercially. With this new founded direction, DCG Ltd. was able to negotiate and win contracts through the World Bank and the United Nations for Atmaca to develop housing projects in developing countries.

With these contracts in hand, Atmaca prefabricated housing standards, and with the guidance of DCG Ltd., a "factory line operation" for housing was developed which helped to produce housing developments in a fraction of the time. Through this newly developed system, Atmaca would ship readymade portions of a house to the construction sites, and then simply assemble them on the spot.

In total, Atmaca was able to build more than 30,000 units in Africa, and more than 40,000 units in the Philippines. This newly developed system was eventually packaged and sold to the Washington Group (USA) for a whopping $85 million.
